David Pattison, who stepped down from his position as chief executive of PHD Worldwide at the end of last year, has resurfaced as CEO of ilG Digital.
ilG Digital is the UK’s largest independent digital marketing services group and the holding company for i-level and Generator Consulting.
According to a statement, this appointment marks the company’s “intention to establish itself as a major player in its own right by significantly expanding its range of services as well as looking to the international stage”.
Pattison will work alongside group managing director Faith Carthy, who will manage the day to day operations, while he will take the lead role in the strategic development of the group.
Pattison said, “After 17 years in one company I was very open minded as to what to do next. Digital is the new frontier of marketing and i-level and Generator have always been at the vanguard of the industry. The market opportunity is huge, so I couldn’t be more excited at the scale of this venture.”
Pattison’s arrival will also see ilG founders Charlie Dobres and Andrew Walmsley move roles. Walmsley will become deputy chairman, focusing on senior client relations, while Dobres will move to an advisory non-executive role, to allow time for other personal projects.
