Stop in the Naaaame of Love
01/01/2008
A Chicago suburb has adopted a humorous approach to curb dangerous driving habits like talking on mobile phones and listening to iPods while driving. Second stop signs were installed beneath the regular ones at 50 intersections. You couldn’t drive by “Stop billion dollar fine”, for instance without either laughing, choking or having a heart attack but preferably stopping at least. Other “stoppers” include: “Stop … really you gotta Stop”, “Stop … and smell the roses” and “Stop… right there Pilgrim”.
