iPhone tops Google 2007 global search list
01/01/2008
In Google’s annual Zeitgeist roundup of most popular search terms for 2007, Apple’s iPhone hardly surprisingly topped the list. Of the technology-related terms which ranked high, social networking and user-generated content sites, Facebook and YouTube continued to dominate. P2P music appears to be on its way out as Kazaa and MP3 were among the fastest-falling search terms globally. Timeless themes such as “What is love?” , “Who is God?” and “How to Kiss” continued to be popular, according to the Zeitgeist team.
