Consumers vote for broadband value-added services

The market for consumer broadband value-added services globally grew by 81% in 2006 accounting for £8 billion in revenues. The sector brought in 25% as much revenue as basic broadband access. IP telephony, accounting for the second largest segment at 27%, has taken a huge share of the telephone market.
