Forget Crazy Frog ringtones; downloads are getting more highbrow, with a set of literary classics set to become available to the iPod generation. Silksoundbooks.com one of the first made-for-download audiobooks sites, plans to do for literature what iTunes has done for music with a series of titles read by famous actors such as Bill Nighy and Richard E Grant. Initial downloads range from Conrad’s Heart of Darkness to nursery rhymes read by Jane Horrocks. Available for £7.95 and will take 20 minutes to download.
