Ancient Rome has been reborn – via a virtual reality tour available to tourists on satellite-guided handsets. In what’s said to be the biggest ever virtual simulation of an ancient city, a professor at the University of Virginia has re-created landmarks such as the Forum and Colosseum as they would have appeared in 320AD.
