Competition is hotting up between the world’s most high profile landmarks, as a global audience votes online for the new Seven Wonders of the World. Non-profit organisation New7Wonders will reveal the result, compiled from votes at www.new7wonders.com, on July 7th. Contenders include the Great Wall of China, Easter Island, Macchu Pichu and the Eiffel Tower. China has launched a mobile phone campaign to win votes.
