Phone that gets you tingling

Imagine if a mobile could transmit a tingling feeling down your spine when a friend calls. That’s just one of the prototype ideas dreamed up by students at the University of Dundee, who were asked to design the next generation of phones. The aim was to allow mobile users to ‘communicate and interact with one another on a new level’. One can only speculate what effect would be chosen if someone who isn’t a friend calls – say, the bank manager.
