Everyone else is there, so why not the Feds too? It seems Second Life has been infiltrated by the FBI. Site owners Linden Labs invited the organisation to look into the virtual world’s internet casinos,  which feature games such as poker and blackjack, dealing in Linden currency which can be exchanged for US dollars. The move comes as US authorities clamp down on internet gaming; whether gambling in Second Life is OK is still unclear.
