A robot to push your buttons
01/04/2007
Scientists have developed a R2D2-style robot computer which recognises humans’ reactions and interacts with them. Roco, the world’s first expressive computer, has a monitor for a head, an LCD screen face, and an attached camera. By responding to the user’s actions, it can react by adjusting its posture, beeping sounds of surprise and move its double-jointed neck around. The robot’s creators hope the robot will make work in the office more enjoyable.
