Social web browsing arrives

Flock 1.1 an upgraded version of Mozilla’s new social media web browser has just been released. It takes the social media experience to a new level integrating various blogs, news aggregation and social networking sites such as Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Flickr and Blogger. Version 1.1 now also  includes webmail support.

You can integrate the browser with Gmail or a Yahoo! Mail account or both. An icon on the browser lets you view new messages, create a message or use the webmail service to share web-pages. There is also support for photo albums created with Picasa Web Albums, Google’s photo-sharing service.
