Parenting web sites are big news in the UK, with Netmums recently receiving a £500,000 Government handout for the support it gives to parents. Now another brand - the cutely-named www.gurgle.com – aims to combine parenting and social networking, together with showing videos on areas such as ‘how to make up a bottle’. Gurgle, which is backed by Mothercare, says it hopes users will see it as an ‘experienced older sister’.
